TEAM DDG

We are seven

Alison

Alison came to DDG having been out of the country and found it a great way to fit back into London. She performed short-form in Kuwait and solo sketch at Chicago's Second City and The Playground. Drama teacher Alison is a London Clown School student and produces live magazine Never Mind the Newsfeed.

Brendan

Brendan started going to DDG between Hoopla courses and just never stopped. He spends his evenings playing in DDG house team DuckDuckTales and his other team The Parentheticals and hosts The Parentheticals' monthly jam, Bracket Racket. When not thinking about improv, Brendan is asleep.

Dan.jpg

Dan

A vital cog in Team DDG since Christmas 2015, Dan only got round to taking his first Hoopla course in 2017, and continues to champion the role of the amateur improviser. If not with teams Glow In The Dark and Ramshackle, Dan can be found presenting hospital radio or seeking the perfect cup of tea.

Ed J.D.

Ed joined DDG  in early 2015 having been an avid audience member since his first night in London. Ed trained in the proving grounds of Bangor University, believed to be the Mecca of street improv. Ed's in Three's Company, which, when playing as a duo, are called Two's a Crowd so the third person doesn't feel left out.

Maddy

Maddy has attended numerous improv classes since late 2015 and enthusiastically joined DDG in June 2016. She plays in 20% Less, DDG's house team DuckDuckTales, and many other imaginary teams, and has fallen off many real items of furniture. She has been permitted one cat reference. That was it.

Steff

After joining DDG back in July 2015, Steff took to the show as he does to most stuff: with excitement, hugs and far too much hair. Having trained with Hoopla, you'll find Steff playing in DuckDuckTales, Gorilla Panic and Glow in the Dark. He is otherwise eagerly awaiting the next DDG; luckily, Monday's never far away.

Vic

Vic co-founded DDG in 2014 and has learned impro(v) with Keith Johnstone, via US schools UCB, iO West and Second City and with many UK schools and teachers. She is an Applied Theatre MA (Goldsmiths) and AT / improv coach / consultant. Vic's also in Gorilla Panic and DDTales and will play Mind Meld with you until you scream.
